The Stock Market Club will start up again in January 2008. Please see Mr. Theil for a application starting December 3rd. The contest will be limited to the first 20 students grade 5-8.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has officially kicked off its search for the 2007 Money Smart Kid as of February 2nd. Students in grades 5-8 are encouraged to enter the contest by submitting an essay answering this year's questions. Student essays are due no later than March 30, 2007.
One student will be named this year's Money Smart Kid, winning a $5,000 scholarship from HSBC.
