WHAT'S NEW IN THE LIBRARY?

For those students fluent in Spanish, try checking out one of the Spanish language books that I selected for our school library the next time you are looking for something new added to our school's collection. I tried to select a good variety of both Fiction and Non Fiction books in Spanish.

Also, with the grant money from the CPS Department of Libraries that I received because Locke School was a Silver Award winner in the CPL card participation program, I was able to purchase a number of new Joke Books and Sports Books. Try checking one of these out!

 

- Visit our branch libraries of the Chicago Public Library.

 

The WEST BELMONT Branch is located at 3104 N. Narragansett Ave. Ms. Strom is the Children's Librarian. She sees many of our Locke School students on a regular basis.

 

The GALEWOOD-MONT CLARE Branch is located at 6969 W. Grand Ave.

They have a new Children's Librarian, Ms. Thompson. She stopped by Locke School recently and stated that she is eager to meet our students.
