Welcome to our Locke School Pre-K Program!

 

My name is Mrs. Leslie Couty and this is my 33rd school year within the Chicago Public Schools. I am a happily married mother of 3 grown children who loves hanging out with family, hiking in nature, photography, fishing, art museums, and most of all travel! My other passion is early childhood education. I've taught pre-k for more than 25 of my 32 years and absolutely love it! This year in our blended full-day program I'll devote my days to providing your child with an engaging and developmentally appropriate education that will prepare them for future success.

 

 I'm really looking forward a pandemic-free year!!! I'm excited to meet my students and their families, as we work together to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment for our youngest learners. Along with my amazing co-teacher Miss R. Tzakis and our wonderful assistant Mrs. Josie, we can't wait to sing, work and play with our kiddos. I want you to know I have an open-door policy and I am here for you if you ever need anything.
