About Me

I live in Chicago with my fiancé, our two cats, and our dog. Before moving to Chicago I lived in Japan for several years. My dad was in the U.S. Air Force when I was growing up so I've lived in many different places. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Master of Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have a PEL to teach visual arts to Kindergarten through 12th grade. This will be my 3rd year of teaching and my 2nd year as a Locke Lion!
