Bio

Hi everyone!

 

This is my 15th year at Locke Elementary as a staff member and my 16th year overall; I did my student teaching at Locke. I have served the Locke community for the last five years as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator, and this year will be my fourth year as the Dean and SEL Interventionist. Before my role as a coordinator, I was the seventh-grade Individuals and Societies teacher. I have a BA in history, an MA in language, literacy, and culture, and an MA in educational leadership. 

 

Locke is a special place that has and will always have a special place in my heart. I am fortunate to have terrific mentors guide me through my educational career. Additionally, it is a pleasure to plan and work with administrators and teachers that care about their students, the community, and bring innovative and meaningful learning experiences to all students.
