DuSable Museum of African American History
The DuSable Museum of African-American History is the oldest museum of its type in the country and is the only major independent institution in Chicago established to preserve and interpret the historical experiences and achievements of African-Americans.
Encyclopedia Britannica Online School Edition
In addition to millions of articles on as many topics, this online encyclopedia includes Internet links, journal and magazine articles, teacher resources, timelines, dictionary and atlas resources. Teachers and students can select the appropriate grade level. There are also research planning guides available in English, Spanish and soon Polish. These guides help students before and during the research process.
