Robert foot will be presiding over the singing of the Pledge of Allegiance and national anthem all rise I pledge allegiance to the flag and the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all oh say can you see call me weiner whose broad stripes on bro through the night and go and now I'd like to introduce and recognize our valedictorian of the class of 2021 valedictorian consist students having the highest academic rating among the graduates this is a turban by reviewing the total number of A's and B's earn in the five major subject areas such as English math reading science and individuals and Society 56 7th and the first three quarters of the 8th grade this honor is bestowed upon Abilene Munoz congratulations Emily good morning friends and graduates class of 2021 cementery of 2020 before you come in through my speech I would love to congratulate all graduate although we did not have the same ask previous graduate we can still make this graduation we are moving on up this may be our final goodbye endlessly as a family Black Elementary revisiting my first day of kindergarten I was afraid nervous I was pushed out of my comfort zone There are rules and tears the majority of our youth was used for Akron bonds with both features what's a young careless child like that I wouldn't put in as much effort as I do now I found great irrelevant and I'm sure none of us did as well instead we focus on socializing for another enjoying life we soon progressed as individual to form a unified community transmission it's Middle School many of us realize things will change and try to adapt to the surroundings I quit all negative habits and focus on my future adjusted the situations we were all over the place mugshots covid-19 seventh grade in transition four classes going to be once in a lifetime experience Flames experience there we have field trips assemblies and very enjoyable bus right it was fun while it lasted we were given the news about covid-19 and then you take this matter seriously we didn't know the true danger until we saw the daily news about the high number amount of death to shift into remote learning wasn't using modifying into new routine but we all sacrifice many things to make this year as possible it may never feel that way but we've gone through so much and we learned many valuable lesson that soon paid off here we are graduating graduating this would not be possible without the unconditional effort and support from The Fantasticks instaff I will forever cherish my certain teacher who played such an essential role in my life as a student teachers who taught me many valuable life lesson skills the most importantly who I really was shaped me into the successful person I am today thank you thank you for never giving up on me I would love to give a special appreciation to my eighth grade teachers as I made my way through Middle School the usual rumors of their major strike came up again me being gullible expected to this like however they were the complete opposite they're all very passionate and joyful individual whom we've grown very fond of starting off with mr. I know I only know a small portion of your of you and of this entire year has probably seen you the face less than I've seen you in person but with all the time I've spent with you I see that you guys are very resilient crowd but many of you guys continue to show up do what you need to do in order to be successful as you guys move on to high school I wish you guys that you are going to be resilient continue to adapt as mist and in order to grow we need to accept these things as challenging as they are and they're challenging as well best wishes. You in the neighborhood potentially if you're sticking around at some of the local schools I-20 so I'm just want to wish you the best this year showing us that life is full of unexpected this and the one thing that you can be sure of is your character so what kind of person would you be one that stuff up to face its Palance when the gathers a group to find some that's going to be all up to you so no matter what you can count on yourself now in high school some of you I have taught in second grade so I'm really proud of who you've become and for all of you I really look forward we will be congratulation graduates we are so proud of you this year has been challenging but you have all persevered and it watched you grow academically and mature into the awesome Young ready to take on the world the last information congratulations we are so very proud of you we will miss you berate Grace you have been my most malleable 8th grade class yet you have withstood so many changes do your last one mentary school year and I admire your tenacity and courage to unprecedented in Spanish of course you did not choose to leave their last Elementary year on such a note however you will go down in history as a covid-19 graduating class and no one will ever forget that I want to wish all of you my best wishes we should leave that in go out and change the world for the better advocate for yourself and for others and make this world a better place make me proud to say I was your teacher and to the class of 2021 you know a hundred years ago our country and thank the world also faced a pandemic the Spanish Flu people also had them wear masks schools were shut shopping was restricted our world pretty much changed a hundred years ago but back then Society overcame the obstacles and we rose again to thrive and become prosperous will just as overcame those obstacles 100 years ago I expect you the class of 2021 to overcome the obstacles of today life isn't about what you accomplish it's about when you fall down learning how to get right back up and continue on and never giving up with that said to the class of 2021 I wish you nothing but peace love and happiness you guys are an amazing group one of the nicest graduating everything I've ever experienced I wish you nothing but the very very best and it wouldn't be a proper ending or closing if I did not give a final bad joke of the year why couldn't the bicycle stand up to it by itself cuz it was too tired to get it cuz two tires with that said class of 20 anyone have an amazing life take care of everyone and above by I know I like to introduce and recognize our salutatorian of the class of 2021 shooting of the salutatorian consists of students having the second highest academic rank among the graduate this honor is bestowed upon Philip Castillo congratulations Philip greetings family friends and graduate the block school's class of 2021 welcome to lock schools 8th grade promotion ceremony I am so pissed you and I'm honored to say that I am salutatorian all this graduate class of 2021 and start off my speech I like to recap Elementary School experiences Reminiscing on our years now ementary school brings me back all the way to pre-k at the time we were young and reckless kids we were concerned about our future and all he wanted was to have fun enter early on the chairs relationships and bonds with people who we call friends now learn basic knowledge M A short-term goals over these years and finally reach our middle school years we learned how to execute challenging problems now only in school when life now you're we are over 9 years later take care of falling pathan Thai School I'm sure we will all Miss mr. corny jokes that sometimes give us a chuckle possibly even Miss Garcia's field trips that we had at least every week maybe even mrs. crickets daily reminders to turn in late work and stay on top of her grades I certainly will miss Mister foot smile and sense of humor in the Box school building our experiences Story 3 year or so unexpected during the summer just before eight grade whenever how to set your as we have just experienced most of us with the eighth grade as unproblematic and we thought we had it easy 20% out remote learning not only were excited stay home all day earthquake would be a breeze for us I'm there we all started off for school remotely I'm sure all of us did not expect the squares main focus to be mainly about keeping our cameras on and on reading or Mike I need to we learn to adapt to this new environment where we put in and it was definitely a struggle girls stressed out the whole year as a human a human interaction with limited menu struggle to transition come in person to Armellini just before Christmas break real applied High School face the fact that we we're leaving or Elementary School life behind display we're all worried about losing friendships and even graduating soon after Christmas break occurred could finally go back to the classrooms some of us weren't read or most of us did not going back to in person School anytime sooner I guess like that some of us were back to school on March 5th has felt like a blur from this point on spring break quickly jumped by his school days for shorter than I we got our high school offers and we finally found out where we would take our following Pat success we took the time to reflect on our past years and cherish our memories in elementary school we lost opportunities such as our luncheon and in-person field trips I'm confident we are saddened because we never got to be together as a class in her last year of Middle School we know that is much stress and missed opportunities we have we fought through it and her hard work paid off we all have exceeded our goals and expectations of elementary school and we have made many accomplishments now only in 8th grade but I'm also in previous two years in school I'm trying to say I'm the privilege to be salutatorian of law schools graduate class of 2021 I'm also pleased to say I participated in groups such as Green Team and National Junior Honor Heidi describe truly help me become the person I am today and I want to think the coordinators for organizing these groups for students also carry the privilege of learning Awards such as honor roll and recognition of over my years at lock as I close out my reservation I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the journey of my peers and me I would first like to thank my family and friends it helped me so much since the beginning and have supporting me all these years it positive changes toward me and gave me a better outlook on life I would also like to thank the family and friends of The Graduate that lock your support for the greatest has been much needed all these years especially during these challenging times I would also like to thank all the teachers and administrators that lock you truly mean the learning environment which one do I Preston's lastly I would like to congratulate each and every graduate of Locke School your determination and dedication has gone he's so far in life in the covid-19 floor expectations for 8th grade there's still much hope for the future don't let this year bring you down as many more years will come giving you more opportunities you fought for this moment and it is finally here I wish nothing Carson Locke Elementary School May service Rick will be giving the principal address to the graduating class good morning everyone good afternoon or good evening I Miss Fitzpatrick Nyambi Havelock Elementary School and I am here on behalf of the entire lot to akin to congratulate the class of 2021 you are now officially and we are so fun what do you have to accomplish over the last two years as and will be unmatched but you did it it wasn't ideal was like most graduating classes can you get the hang out while your bodies are sitting in class with 35 kids turn off a screen to a computer so yours you still think your job I know a lot of people out there are saying all these kids they're you know they're going to struggle when it not our kids not you your 7th grade teachers last year your 8th grade is this year I've done an amazing job of making sure that you got the education that you deserve and you're going to see it when you go to high school but everybody else is trying to catch people up you going to be stopping you're going to sit in those boxes to go we've done this keep it going you have an advantage what a disadvantage this year but it's been an advantage for you for your future because you've done the work you've turned from normal Elementary School students who came to school and people have the harp on you and and nudge you and wake you up in class and try to get you to go class lockers or wind around the buildings to doing everything on your own independently yourself off you had to make sure that you got online yet so figure out how to use the camera but it wasn't just looking up at the ceiling all the time just so you know parents this is what most of us all throughout the school year for some reason they didn't want to show themselves they didn't do their hair or whatever but you have to be engaged then you were at your work done and you've done it it's going to make you so much stronger than anybody else and I know you been here 10,000 more you may not understand now but you will when you get older what did for the class of 2021 at the ages of 13 14 15 we're independent Learners can say that before you you learn to do it on your own I take responsibility and learn really easy to get sidetracked sit there and play cool games for the teachers teaching watching YouTube videos or focus on what you're supposed to get done then realize that you can still do all those things just after you get your work done you're going to be better people going to be hard going back into society and for those that have come back this year socially accepted hang in there that's going to be your tough one getting back into society and hanging out with all these kids again in learning how to manage your time and not get caught up in the dramas do you have parents you're amazing we were able to get through this year and a half because of you please understand that as a school you put your full support and me and my team at our school and then you're to your students with children's teachers because you did that we were able to do our job and I think we did a really good job under these circumstances I'm very proud of everybody I want to thank you because it's hard to be hard ever met home cinnamon Gates yelling at them screaming at them the things that we have to do every day when their hair promise we can call you when they can call us when they're not listening to you we lost that connection we lost that teamwork but you did it on your own and I thank you for that then they may not know what they want when they get older you're cute thank you too because however hard it was they made it 10 they are now graduates of elementary school and going off to awesome high schools hopefully they'll take all of this and continue to keep going forward the roads going to be rough parents it's the time of your kids even though they don't think they do need you the most check your emails follow them on Instagram follow them on Snapchat follow their every move make sure they know that you're watching they mean turn save cuz as soon as you turn the other way is when they're going to start going down the wrong path kids please listen to parents they're the only people in this world that want the best for you only care about you everyone else wants something from you now your parents they just want you to be happy and so and I know you don't realize this but they know they know what it takes to do it everyday please listen to them be honest with them talk with them The Hobbit everything you have to get to and hopefully he'll yell and scream at you as much as they have to to keep you on that right path to the class of 2021 so proud of you we're happy for you and unfortunately this is the greatest graduation the choice people won't remember Dominican or or that it was a virtual you're going to remember your friends you got to remember your teachers will always be there for you you're going to remember what your Elementary it's like you're not going to you're not going to remember that all I didn't get to walk across the stage of the medication you're going to say going to be unique and do yours those are your memories we can sit here and feel bad and feel sorry for ourselves all we want but the bottom line is that your work paid off you did it you graduated so proud of you no I have a couple favors ask one keep on keep working hard the next four years will determine your future put the time in the effort in so that your grades are up and then you get as much academics as you can so that you can choose any college you want to go to and nobody can stop you please make sure you're there for each other and continue to be there for each other please make sure you listen to your parents I know turn things off and I know there were four panes in the behind it's cuz we do care and you will start to understand that when you get older and don't forget about us send us emails reach out to your teachers reach out to anybody in this building let us know how you're doing your successes and your bumps in the road you're going to have them we will help you we will still be there for you there's nothing greater as a principal I get a phone call from a graduate or when I'm at the mall and I run into somebody and they tell me just how wonderful day like this and I know that they're okay but I know we had something to do that we won't forget you you are the class of 2021 you are the class that graduated walk across the stage in our parking lot we are proud of you we love you we look forward to hearing all the wonderful wonderful stories that you're going to tell the future we're going to miss you stay strong locked ride thank you you're troubled and given me everything think of the
